Probably the most frequent concerns with hot water heaters is noise. One may at some point realize that the peculiar disturbances they have been hearing are actually coming from the water heater! This is caused by sediment build up and is more of a nuisance than a huge issue, although, if left un-monitored for too long it can develop into a larger concern. There are a few solutions and preventative actions one can take regarding sediment deposits. First, have the water heater drained at least once a year.
